I’m a big fan of purple tint rinse, but it’s been out of stock for quite a long time…. I’ve been using red mixed with what little I had left of the purple. I used to always mix them in another bottle I had saved from eSalon in days gone by… PLEASE GET IT BACK IN STOCK! OR make a different darkish purplish/reddish color!!!

Want to update my review as I tried a few adjustments and it is now working so much better. Key points are making sure you get it to a good lather, don't let it sit too long past the 2-3 minutes, and follow up with conditioner. It's different than a glaze, which I had used before.

Old review: I used this rinse exactly as directed and twice now it has made my hair feel terrible, barely brushable, even after conditioning! I'm not sure if the color is working because I'm stuck fighting the texture it has created, which is almost unbearable (is it breaking my hair too?). My hair has never felt so bad, and sadly I've identified the culprit.

When I tried a couple times to use this as suggested by eSalon, it did NOTHING for my color. So I experimented! Mixing the Tint Rinse with water (1:1) in a hair color application bottle, applying the mixture to DRY hair and leaving on 30 mins to 1 hour works perfect for me.

Seriously, EVERY time I check to see if the COPPER Tint Rinse is in stock, it is NOT!
I'm very frustrated. This is a GREAT product, especially for those of us with red hair, colored (yes, that's me) or not.
Do you even get it anymore, or is it just still on here? There isn't even a 'Notify me when back in stock' button.
I'll keep watching for it, but truly is getting annoying.
I love all your products. If I didn't, I wouldn't care.

I thought it was more of a permanent color that would help in between my colors. It did teach me to do more review before purchasing something I did not know enough about. It was added to my regular color box for quite some time, because I kept forgetting to remove it. I did finally remember to remove it and everything was fine from then on.

I have depended on your Tint Rinse to hold me over until my next order of hair color. I love this product and have used it for years.
I'm not sure what is causing this to be "out of stock" for so long.
I wish you could replace it with another like product if it isn't going to come back on the market.

I absolutely love the tint rinse. But I have since changed my hair color with Esalon and now require the Red. It is now no longer available. Such a bummer. There is nothing else on the market as good as this.

OUT OF STOCK FOR MORE THAN A YEAR!!

I've been using copper tint after every wash between coloring and it was perfect. Without tint the color fades quickly. Now that it's OUT OF STOCK for more than a year I will probably quit my subscription altogether. Right now I'm experimenting with other companies selling hair color. I don't understand: I check availability every so often, but again and again OUT OF STOCK! Funny, that some reviews of this tint color are written this month! How did they get the tint, if it's out of stock for a year+??? I don't want to quit eSalon, but you leave me no choice. I will really miss the good color and tint in between coloring.
PS. Yes, I contacted eSalon about when my favorite tint will be available, but the answer was: keep checking, we did not discontinue copper tint.

I loved this copper colour as it helped retain colour between times but it has been 'out of stock' for a year. I am disappointed and also because no one claims to be able to comment on out of stock items. What is going on here and why don't they restock the copper colour tint boost?

I was in-between colouring my hair and I decided to try this to add a little boost to my colour. My daughter commented how nice my colour was straight after I'd washed it. BUT one thing I don't like is it's VERY runny - you have to remember to shake it which is fine but it comes out very quickly and the lid leaks slightly which worries me if it gets on my tiles it may die it.

Honestly, im more of a fan of the tint rinse. Almost every time I use it. The compliments start pouring in. It just leaves the right amount of highlights, I guess for lack of a better term.

I was advised by Zinali In customer service that since I had previously lightened hair and wanted to go to an all over brown color that we would need to pre treat with tint rinse. The process is a little scary at first because let me tell you is it ever copper! The copper grabbed on to my blonde and made them a bright red orange color. I trusted the process and continued with my custom color and let me tell you….i have never experienced such a rich color on lightened hair. It’s as if the tint rinse just filled in the pigments that were missing so my color would be all over even. It was amazing and not to mention so absolutely nourishing! Listen to their suggestions because they really do know what they are talking about!

I thought this worked better on dry hair than wash. The color doesn’t hold if you put it on as a rinse in the shower. Apply before shower! Other than that it works great love the color

I received the package few months ago to scared to try jeotgoing to my stylist until today I finally decided to be brave and try the color set
And I have to tell you unfortunate for my hair dresser ESalon was true to their words the color is beautiful
The work was easy a bit more trash than needed
But I love the color I hope it stays true after a few washes

This didn’t work on my hair like I hoped it would.
I was looking for something that I could use right before I need to color again. But this didn’t really make any difference. The color is very pretty and I am sure that an another shade of blonde would work well with it.
I just love E-Salon products. So even though this wasn’t for me, I am sure it will be great for someone else. That is why I gave it a four star rating.

Didn’t dry my hair out nor did it leave blotchy purple patches like some purple toning shampoos can do. I think I prefer pureology’s or the one from matrix better though.

I love the idea of the tint rinse, it does seem to work a little, But it will stain your towels so be sure to rinse it out of your hair really good! I have other tint rinses that I prefer, and will not be getting this again simply because I was not satisfied with my other purchases.

Beim ersten Haare waschen hatte ich die Pflegepackung nicht zur Hand, die Haare glänzten nicht richtig. Beim zweiten und weiteren Wäschen ist sie jetzt immer, vor der Spülung dabei und die Haare glänzen jetzt super.

It says use twice a week, I only wash my hair twice a week. I try to stay away from sulfates parabens all the bad chemicals, so this is outside my norm. I do think it is depositing some color? Time will tell.

This is a lovely little refresh tint the colour is great and the ease of applying , the only con I personally had was it made my hair feel abit straw like straight after using it but applying conditioner after helped with that.

I have well water and it can leave my hair a brassy blonde color. And it has an awful feel. I switched to distilled water and I use this tint rinse every time I wash my hair. Goodbye brassy blonde color!

I do have a suggestion though. Have you noticed that there is no Color NAME on the tube? I'm in the shower with water in my eyes and grabbed one of my (2) tubes of tint. I'm visually impaired anyway, but I couldn't see whether I had grabbed the RED or the COPPER. No color on tube.....just a band of color that is very difficult to differentiate between red and copper. There are only a limited amount of tint colors anyway so it should not be a big deal to easily read the name so I don't accidentally apply the wrong color. Thank you.

I bought this as I've always wanted a toner to run through my hair instead of pulling my roots through with permanent dye. I've not used it yet as I've just had my hair done at the hair dressers, but I will use it in the New Year! I will submit another review when I've used it.

I love the results from this Tint Rinse, especially with my red-copper color I use it about two weeks after coloring, when my color is not that bright anymore, but by roots are not so visible different yet. The only thing I would improve on this is the smell, cause it has similar odour like actual color, I would love if it could smell more like a shampoo.

Smells nice, really works on coppers and perhaps even some auburns, not sure what other colours it comes in but if your hair is tinted this a must have lol leaves hair in great condition and gives new life to your colour in between your tints. Also great value, I’ve paid up to 3 times as much in salons, all round great product.
