I used this to colour my hair bright pink. I applied it to my hair while it was dry, and left it in for about 30 mins. When I washed it out, I had a hot pink colour. It lasted about three weeks before washing out

I used it every 10 days, and it seems helping slow my hair color down turing reddish-brown. Only thing I felt is my hair became straw-like a bit for one day after using it.

I have (naturally) medium to dark ash brown hair and I was bothered that my highlighted ends were considerably warmer than my roots. Not wanting to dye my hair, I tried Tinted Love in the Red Neutralizer.
I left it on for 3 minutes the first time and did not see a difference, the second time I went for 5 minutes and about 10 minutes for the third. I got a good look at my hair today in natural lighting and I was ELATED to see my hair was back to it's natural cool, ashen tone. It did not make my roots (about 4") grayish or green or anything, and it made my hair glossy and bright... which is hard to do with ash toned hair. I love this so much.

I recently had my hair highlighted, which turned out to be very blonde/white. After using this only 1 time it has softened and blended the highlights with the rest of my hair.

I love how you only have to lather it in like shampoo and wait a few minutes. It's much easier than other treatments like this where I had to comb it through. It has great, even, beautiful results, it even blended my grey roots in. I just wish it came in a bigger size and was less expensive. Also, because I have light strawberry blonde colour, I would prefer to try the gold copper but it's been out of stock for a while.

So I've been dying my hair from a dark blonde to a nice bright coppery ginger color. While i adore the brightness and uniqueness of it, anyone with red hair will know that inevitably it fades quickly.. for me it fades super quick ( curse oily hair) just due to normal washing and etc. So this color enhancing treatment is a perfect 'pep in the step' for my hair to add brightness and color for in between dyeing jobs. FYI it is temporary and i use about twice a week. Also, it leaves my hair super soft which i love.

I noticed that this gave my color a bit more depth and shine. I am going to mix this with the Copper and see if I get the desired color punch I was looking for but all-in-all it's a great product and I'd recommend it.

I really like this product in the golden colour. I wash my hair 3x a week and mix this with my second shampoo and leave 2 minutes it gives the golden highlights I like to my medium dark blonde colour and extends the colour until the next application. . Now the only time I'm aware my colour needs re applying is when my roots come through.

When adding the tint, take care to hurry or you can temporarily stain your fingers, even with soaping after. Of course you can wear gloves.
Love how this tint successfully removes the red. My hair always goes red or orange and I couldn't bear it without the tint. Good product never offered in a local salon.

At first I wasn't sure how well this was going to work. It takes time but once you keep using it you notice how it keeps your red longer and it actually makes your hair really silky, it replaced my conditioner and my hair looks a lot better. I live by this

My hair tends to lighten when I am out. Likely the white wanting to come out. I just apply some of this and I can't explain it, it doesn't darken, but it sort of looks more highlighted than fading.

I think this may be the product I used two years ago, only it was in a bottle. Since I didn't use color-safe products at the time, this helped to keep my color looking new.

I've used multiple in- between color savers in my day, especially being a red head the color is very prone to fading. This color additive however is second to none. It leaves your hair revived, glowing and shining with color, none of that dreaded flat fade being left. It gave texture and dimension to my hair, renewed my beautiful color, just like I'd been in a salon!

Could use this shade perfect warm golden blonde, just needs to be less drying , maybe a lower % of developer added, add some oil and conditioner to your formula, then this product would be fantastic!!

This is the tint rinse that is recommended for my hair color. I think it is too dark and coppery for my hair color. My hair color from esalon is spot on for me. I tried tint rinse about three times, and double checked my technique. I actually don't need it for my shade, light copper mahogany. My friend agreed it was a fail for me. It washed out quick enough, for two weeks if you looked closely you might have seen a few strands that were too coppery. Don't do it before an important event . I would suggest you try it if you are interested, it might be a homerun for you and your shade. The product seems to be of high quality.

I didn't know what to expect with this rinse. I've never used a product such as this. I really like the way it carries your color over into weeks after having color put in. The only downside I had to this is it is messy and will dye other items wherever you're using this. I used it in the shower. It was easy to clean up. Not so easy when it leaked around the lid and dripped into the tub. MUST SHAKE is a definite. I like the way it highlights my color.

So this came with my package but they say to use it prior to your first colour. (I found that strange). Careful on towels!

I have dark brown hair that naturally has quite a cool shade, but I always used to use Aveda's Black Malva (it has been discontinued), which made my hair super cool, ashy and a little bit darker! Since then, I tried to find something similar. I thought that esalon Red Neutraliser might be the right thing, but it did very little to my hair tone. I can see a slight different, my hair is a liiiitle bit cooler. But that's it... It look shinier, but it's very dry - I think there's too much protein in this formula. I hope my hair won't break. Anyway, if you are looking for something to dramatically cool down your hair, this it not it.

My hair when lightened takes on more red tones so I really don't have a problem with it looking 'brassy'. I must have missed that in the description.

i dyed my hair in august in light ash brown color unfortunately I ended up with red / orange highlights all over my hair. I tried several toner from the cheapest to the most expensive ones from hairdressing salons blue to purple even green to get rid of this none of this have worked so far. I was really hoping this one works after seeing Elle bangs video on youtube and and after reading some reviews on how they swear by it how her hair was soft and helps reduce the brassiness and bright her color on point like the salon. I don't know if It's because my brassiness is that bad or because i don't buy the right product even if i take the quiz but it make my hair worst than ever. I try this product 3-4 times now and my hair is more orange than before make my hair dry not soft like it mention. I try différents methods to apply not working at all. I'm not satisfied the only positif side is It's not expensive but for the rest i'm desapointed and now i don't know what to do with my hair :(

Tried this tint rinse on my hair and was not impressed. I followed directions, but it did not add much color to my hair while also leaving it crunchy and not soft at all. Didn't see any difference in the shine as my hair is shiny anyway. It was easy to use and not messy. It did not color my hands either.

I was hoping this would prolong the time between coloring. As I age I have noted that my grays tend to be very aggressive. I admit I did not use product until the grays started showing. I will be trying it again from the onset of color. It is a beautiful color match to my hair.

I was so delighted with my Custom Color Set that I thought I would try this product. I felt it weighed my hair down and didn’t provide the shine I was expecting.

I'm so mad at myself for putting this in my hair this morning because I was so happy with the color that I just dyed it two days ago. I went from a very light blonde to a dark blonde/strawberry blonde with the custom blend color. I added the "tinted love" in Copper to my first order thinking it was what I should use in between coloring since it was "suggested" for me. Why I thought I should use this two days after coloring, I cannot tell you--I'm impulsive? Yes, I am very impulsive when it comes to my hair. Anyway I stupidly wanted to try the rinse today and it left weird orange pumpkin-colored deposits in the middle of my hair and its completely uneven looking. I look like I just poured it on some spots and its not a flattering color at all now. To add, it was hard to get the foil protective cover off to open it-- and when I did, I squeezed the bottle and it squirted out the other end (the top of the bottle) all over the tile & stained the grout in my shower! So I have to throw it out since there is a hole in the other end of the bottle. Hopefully it washes out in a few days so I will be shampooing my hair for like 3 days in row because right now I have bozo the clown highlights in the middle of my hair. Yuck. Ugly "copper tint rinse" is just not a color for me, do not like at all.

I have thick dry naturally curly hair so I use a 3 min. deep conditioner after shampooing and a small amount of leave in conditioner afterwards so it doesn't get frizzy. My hair didn't feel soft, felt like it had been stripped. Even when it dried it felt like straw.

I originally bought this tint rinse to extend the period of time between my colours. I usually get a strawberry blonde (naturally dark blonde) color set which I have always been happy with.
The first time I used this product it turned the ends of my hair light pink. At first I thought it wasn’t a big deal, that I just needed another application for the full benefit of the product. The second time I applied this product my hair has now turned a lovely shade of darker pink. I don’t have anything against pink hair... it just wasn’t the look I was going for. According to the product description this product should last two or three washes. I have now washed my hair at least 10 times and it’s still pink.
Instead of extending the time between my colours I now need to get another colour sooner and need to go darker than I would like to correct my pink hair. Overall very unimpressed with this product that was in my recommendations.

I started using this about a month ago, I have noticed the brassiness somewhat go away ,still have some reddish orange tho, but I have another treatment to go on my baylage. But I'm also using it with blue shampoo. My hair has alot of red undertones in it and no matter what color I go with the red always comes out, so for past 4 years have been doing medium brown to eliminate red.

My natural color is dark blond, i was bleach blonde for several years and over 3 months gradually dyed my hair to dark brown. It had now been about 5 times i'm dying roots+all over dark COOL brown and my hair gets unwanted red tones within two weeks of the hair job. I've been trying everything to pare myself constant re-dying, from blue shampoos (which often made the red tones even deeper) to different hair dyes (even if cool at the beginning the red tones show up sooner or later in my hair) I bought this toning mask and i have to say, VERY DELICATE RESULT. Definitely not enough to make me feel I got rid of the red undertones. I used "DP hue Cool Dark Brown" gloss conditioner before and have to say so far its the only really successful product out there. If you're looking to spare yourself constant spendings on products that don't work just get this gloss and hold for the full 20 minutes, and learn when your hair needs another dose. I thought esalon's toning mask and tint rinse would work similar, but the results are incomparably less noticable.

It is meant to be used to refresh tone on hair that is already a very copper-toned shade. This product cannot be used to cover grays or regrowth. Once you have achieved your desired Dark Blonde Intense Copper shade, this Tint Rinse will help refresh tone over that base. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

I loved tinted love! Not sure what's different about this product, but it doesn't leave my hair as brightly colored and vibrant as the tinted love version did. Not sure yet if it will last through as many shampooings as tinted love did but I hope so.

As this changes, the tone of the purple tint rinse will change too. I bought this product after a YouTube video directed me here. I looked at reviews and was super excited. Tried it the first day I got it. My hair is a light brown red with blonde at the ends. I have fine wavy hair but a lot of it. This product is dark and potent but quickly turns to white suds (so idk how that’s supposed to evenly reach all the hair) I had to use a ton of the product to even think I touched some of it and was left with extremely sudsy hard hair I couldn’t run my fingers thru. When my hair dried I was left with what I was afraid of...the same root/mid shaft RED and the ends a DARK way darker then mid shaft. This wasn’t supposed to do that. The color grabbed the damaged hair that I don’t want to have to fix and process further. Beware people with a lot of hair or long hair. I think this would only work for fine, thin, short hair with no blonde whatsoever. Very irritated I paid for this and waited instead of getting a toner or dye... I’m in a worse place color wise than I was to begin with. Maybe it only works for roots because the dark “rich” color doesn’t stay dark it immediately turns to white suds.

I really, really wanted to love this product. Was super excited about it and read all the awesome reviews. I've tried leaving it in for longer, shampooing before/not shampooing before, but nothing seems to allow it to deposit any colour in my hair. I would've gone for the golden copper but it was out of stock, maybe that would've had more effect.

I’ll start off by saying, there are things I do like about this product. Such as the scent, the ease of applying it, the shine it gives your hair after using it. What I didn’t love, was the color it turned my hair (which was the main reason I bought it). I have dark brown hair with blonde balayage, and while it did remove my brassy color from the blonde, it also gave it a blue/green hue, which is understandable since its neutralizing the brass. What I wish is that it would’ve gotten rid of the brass while not casting a blue/green hue on it. I applied it exactly as directed. I do like the color it deposited on my brown hair, just not the blonde so much.

I’ve used it three times in a week hoping it would knock out or cut back on the warm hue but have only noticed tiny improvement. I’ll keep using it. I do like the shine it gives my hair! I do suggest shaking the tube WELL before use. It was very thin coming out the first time so I shook the second time and it was way thicker. Lathers a lot and smells fine. My hair has been through a lot the past six months and it feels really not soft when rinsing this out, only after conditioner. I’m growing my hair out.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I haven't noticed a difference. I even set the timer to make sure I wasn't washing it out too early. My hair looks the exact same with or without using this.

It absolutely did nothing to my hair besides dry out my hair and scalp! I really wanted it to work. I tried leaving it in longer with no results :( the smell is good but that's about it. Made my hair shiny and soft

It doesn't neutralize the red tint in my hair. Iv done it three times, one time with 2 minutes. The next time with 5 minutes and then last time with 10 minutes. I didn't see a change in color but I did like how it made my hair look shiny and soft.
