This formulation did not work on my hair. I am trying the cowash, but in the meantime I had to throw these out. My hair was dull and my dandruff had a field day. I am hoping that the cowash works well in combination with my Dove 2in1 Dandruff Shampoo.

The bottle I received did NOT have the same type of top as the displayed bottle here, (plunger type). It was just a press down at ONE END to open the lid. Unfortunately after using the product I can report that the contents do LEAK OUT after pressing the lid shut? Causing wastage, the contents leak and run down the outside of the container, causing a messy sticky surface.

Shampoo didnt suds up. Had to use 2x as much. Conditioner did nothing but make hair limp and greasy. Will not purchase again. Waste of money. Threw it away

I am a bit disappointed in these products. My hair doesn't feel as clean as it should and I don't get the nice shiny hair as with other products. My hair doesnt last clean for more than one day with these products. I will not be ordering them again

The conditioner seems to be ok but you have to use alot of the shampoo to get any kind of lather. If I don't have suds, I don't believe my hair is clean. I won't buy the shampoo again.

I've used the HEART line for awhile and have now been getting this item in my order. If this has replaced the HEART line then it seems to have changed and not for the better. My hair isn't nearly as soft or manageable. I'm also not a fan of the new packaging (prefer the pump and or thumb push cap).

I have tried this several times, and I guess if you have oily hair this does not work at all. I checked the bottle several times to see if it was cream rinse instead of shampoo. The shampoo is a thick white cream like conditioner and did not get my hair clean at all. I used a little bit of it, normal amount and a larger portion of it. Washed my hair once and rinsed it, twice and rinsed it and even three times and rinsed it. All the times I tried it my hair the next day was like I really had not washed it and did not look clean. If you have oily hair I don't think this would work for anyone. Needless to say I am going to throw away what is left.

After 5 shampoos ( using your shampoo every other day) the ends of my hair ( three inches from the roots) has returned to it's natural color. I look extremely weird. I have an orange cap of hair. LOVED the old pump bottles. This conditioner is a nightmare to

I liked the conditioner package that goes with my hair color kit and was hoping that this is the same. I was disappointed that they are not the same. The conditioner is much thicker and did not make my hair as smooth and shiny as the small package that goes with the hair color kit.

I love the conditioner inside this bottle, but..... I can't get it OUT of the bottle! The bottle is so stiff it's difficult to squeeze, and the product so thick it won't pour out. I had a fight with it in the shower this morning. I'll attempt to get it all out and into another bottle but the new packaging needs help for sure!

I will start out by staying that, like other reviewers, I found this shampoo and conditioner set allows you a couple of days between shampoos without your hair looking and feeling greasy or dirty, which I love.
However, for me the shampoo is very drying and it’s hard to work the shampoo through the ends of my hair—so what I have been doing is scrubbing my scalp and just pushing the shampoo through the middle and ends of my hair as best as I can.
The conditioner looks thick, however, it feels thin as I am applying to my hair, mainly to the ends, which after using the shampoo feel like sandpaper. It leaves the ends feeling a bit softer but it is still hard to comb through my hair when I’m finished washing it.
I’m sure for people with short hair or oily hair this set is great, but it isn’t great for my long, normal-to-dry hair.

I really dislike the shampoo. I have to use A LOT of it to wash my hair as my hair is long and very thick. Luckily I only wash my hair every three or four days, otherwise the bottle would be gone in a week.

All this shampoo and conditioner does is leave my hair in knots and makes it super weighted down, it’s not formulated for thinner hair at all, it’s better for my dog sadly =(

I found the conditioner extremely difficult to get out of the bottle, from the first use!!! I tried standing it on its head, tapping, removing the cap and squeezing but still it remained inside. Perhaps it should be in a jar. I admit I am older, but have not experienced this before.

I so wanted to like the conditioner and the shampoo, but unfortunately they weren’t compatible with my hair. I have used just a small amount of them and was unable to rinse them out, even after 3 times or washing/rinsing. Not sure if it was just mine a bad batch or whether all of them are the same. So not worth the hype nor spending the money.

I don't know what has changed or if it has but this past six months using the Classic Shampoo I have found it seems "cheaper". It doesn't lather very well, requires more shampoo. Not very happy with this product. When I color my hair I have to use another shampoo in addition to the sample of the classic.

Not sure if this conditioner works because as soon as I put it in my hair I washed it out because it stinks kind of like an old pharmacy... dusty smell... ewww... immediately washed my hair again and used my regular conditioner.

Not good for my hair, globs of it came out when the girl washed my hair. This shampoo dried my hair out after coloring. I asked the girl to put in a moisturizing one and she put some leave in conditioner. I wish they would put the right shampoo in my color packet I get. I always throw these out

The shampoo is very nice but no different from any drugstore shampoo that I have tried and it’s a lot more expensive. I personally feel because we also have to pay shipping fees the cost of the shampoo and conditioners should be less.

I do like this shampoo but my bottle had leaked about a third of the product into the mailing container and at the price point .... that really hurt. The lid wasn’t on well so it leaked out. I lost product and my box was a mess. Please be more careful when packaging your products.

It lacks suds, so i probably used more than necessary. It has a "thin" feel, and doesnt integrate with my hair---sort of falls out of my hair. The fragrance is mild and pleasant but I wont reorder.

This formula doesn’t seem as condensed
Or as effective as the one you get with your color kit. The color kit one leaves my hair super soft and no frizz. This one didn’t do that at all. It is shiny and smells wonderful but not super impressed.

Same here, after hubby dies my hair, it takes a lot of shampoo to wash my hair and get rid of the excess color. I get about 5 - 6 uses with each bottle, which makes it rather expensive. The quality is good, it just does not foam unless I use more than I usually would use.

The Love Unconditionally conditioner was WONDERFUL. Although you say this formula was previously the Love Unconditionally conditioner, I had my doubts as soon as I started using it. It feels different, smells different, and, most importantly of all, it works much less well!!
I found a hidden container of the Love Unconditionally conditioner in my cabinet and used it today. It was absolutely clear that it wasn't the same formula. It was the conditioner that I missed!!! This was confirmed when I compared the ingredients, which are NOT the same between the two versions of the conditioner.
Explain to your customers why: (1) you changed the formula; (2) you persist in deceiving your customers by suggesting that this conditioner was "previously" "Love Unconditionally." It just isn't so!

Honestly, as much as I love the E-Salon coloring, I cannot endorse the shampoo or conditioner. I really liked the samples in the kit but the full size(s) are disappointing. Plus, they look identical in the shower! I have to put them in separate spots because I can't see which is WHICH! I will go back to the beauty supply store and try again.

The shampoo was nice, however I had to use more volume of product to thoroughly clean my hair. I feel it is expensive for the amount of product provided.

Sulfate is an ingredient that gives shampoo it's suds, but it can be drying and strip your hair of color. I thought the conditioner was going to be exactly like the small, one use that comes in my color kit. the large size didn't have any fragrance and it did not coat my hair the way the single use did.

I bought this shampoo because I love the single use packet that comes in my at home color treatment. the large size does not have any scent and it does not lather. I bought the large size because I was going away with my sisters and I wanted them to try this product. This large size is not the same product. Neither is the conditioner. I was very disappointed. I won't buy either of them again.

I thought the packet of shampoo you get with the color kit was hard to lather because of the chemical you are washing out from just coloring and I liked the smell, so I ordered it hoping my color would last longer. I am very disappointed. I continually have to use more for my hair to feel clean and didn’t see a difference. I’m definitely going back to my regular color-safe shampoo. For me, this was not worth the money at all.

I decided to try this since the price is lower than the shampoo I buy in a salon. This shampoo doesn't control my frizziness - even with extra product in it and using a flat iron. The other thing I noticed (this is just personal preference), my hair looked greasy the next day. With the shampoo from the salon I wouldn't have to start using dry shampoo until day two or three and then could use dry shampoo for a couple days before I needed to wash it again. I would need to wash my hair every day with this shampoo.

I purchased this hoping to have a better sulfate Free shampoo but this is no better than the rest. It leaves my hair a tangly mess and greasy the next day. I also have to use a lot of conditioner just to de-tangle the mess in the shower. I almost finished my first bottle hoping it would get better and purchased another because I didn’t know what else to use. I’m done with this shampoo and the conditioner that goes with it. Won’t purchase either again.

I'm so glad to see from the other reviews that I'm not the only one dumbfounded by your redesign. Your products now look like I would find them in a no-tell motel bathroom ... generic and outdated. The bottle color is reminiscent of the pink anti-itch product I put on mosquito bites as a kid (not a pleasant memory, and one from the 1970s!). The loss of the pump top is a bummer, too. All this redesign looks like is an effort to cut costs. I know you say the product itself hasn't changed, and I hope that's true, because if it did get cheaper along with your redesign, I won't be a member for much longer.

My hair has finally returned to its former softness without the new esalon shampoo and conditioner. It was dry and straw like with whatever was in the repackaged bottles, despite assurances thst the formulations had not changed.

With the new products, my hair feels like straw. I have to throw these away. I tried 4x and my hair is now so unmanageable, compared to the previous formulation. The company says that nothing has changed but the packaging.....NOT TRUE.
I'm sure this review will never be publicly posted....so for whoever is readin this...your company has changed and is unscrupulous. Beware!

I'm sure this would be fine for someone else, but it doesn't make my hair more manageable. A little too mild I think. I'll be changing for something else.

Smells nice, no sulfates, but requires more than one wash

I have basically stopped using this shampoo because my hair doesn't "feel" light and clean after one or sometimes even two washes. It smells really good, though! It's probably my hair type that prevents me from loving it.

I have to use big amount to blend in my hair although my hair is thin and Short i shower every other day comparing to the bottle size I would finish it in less then 2 weeks

Sulfate is an ingredient that gives shampoo it's suds, but it can be drying and strip your hair of color.
