Better than a salonI have used the same DIY colour for years. I loved the colour but it never lasted, although permanent. My grey started to come back through after only 3 weeks. SurprisedMy scalp is very sensitive which made it rather difficult for me to color my hair, have tried many many products but I am very happy with this product, it left my hair feeling nice and silky. I just need to amend my color a bit as currently, it is a little too dark but that is just my own doing. Will recommend this product to anyone. Magic!I never write a review really. Esalon has made my day. I have mousy brown hair and had a load of highlights growing out. I wanted to return to brunette but when I use box dyes it always starts off too dark then goes a red-brown. I just wanted a nice brunette with tones and I uploaded a few pictures and chose my colour and even though I was worried it was going to go red or orange it is now a lovely brunette. Color MatchOn my first order, the grey coverage and color was off by a 1/2 shade to a shade. I spoke with a color specialist who adjusted my color for better grey coverage and a darker shade and the next batch was a perfect color blend! Very easy process for a 1st time user. Beautiful color.My husband and I are sheltering in during the pandemic and doing each other’s hair which has been rather fun.This is the first time I have colored my own hair after 25 years of salon color. I have to say that I like the color better! The instructions were clear. A plastic bowl, plastic clips and cape were super helpful and we used them for my husband’s cut as well!
