Best Home Hair Color - great for your hair AND your pocket!I have been using eSalon hair color for well over a year now and not only is it easy to use and so affordable, when I go to my hair stylist to get my hair cut, she has complimented on how healthy my hair is. So this proves that the eSalon color isn't your ordinary, run-of-the-mill box hair color that usually dries your hair out terribly and just leaves your hair an overall mess, especially if you do it often. I have saved so much money using this color - which I mainly use to cover grays and to lighten my hair slightly, that I can afford now to go over four months or so and get a GOOD haircut and not have to go to the cheaper places that don't always do a good job. not sure what happened this timeNot sure what happened this time but my hair felt like it was coated with somethigs waxy or oily. I washed my hair and it would not come out. I dried my hair and it was greasy and weighted down. I had to re-wash three times. My previous colorings have been great. Love the color and product. Love the shampoo and conditioner. SIMPLY SAID - NO COMPETITIONI HAVE BECOME VERY ILL WITH AN ILLNESS THAT MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO MAKE IT TO MY HAIR APPOINTMENTS. I HAVE NOT COLORED MY HAIR IN OVER 30 YEARS SO I WAS APPREHENSIVE BUT DECIDED TO ORDER FROM eSALON AND HOPE FOR THE BEST. MY COLOR IS ACTUALLY BETTER AND TO THINK I WAS PAYING ALMOST $200 AND NOW MY HAIR LOOKS BETTER AND THE PRICE IS NOT EVEN AN ISSUE. New color, loved it, some fading but staying with it!This color was a change from my usual array of blonde I've used over the last 30+ yrs. I decided to go for a new, brighter, but not lighter, strawberry blonde color (which my daughter has naturally). In the past, hair color with any level of copper or red in it, would, unfortunately, immediately begin to fade and be totally gone from my hair in a few weeks - way sooner than expected. However, I find eSalon is holding great! Although the color has faded to a degree (which I expected) , I am still very pleased with eSalon formula's holding power overall! I am a few weeks from touch up and I feel it will be perfect timing. I am very excited to reapply this new color again.
