I can buy medium brown anywhereThe color that was sent was the same color that can be purchased in any drugstore for half the price. The smell is extremely off putting and my scalp went numb (honestly, first time that has ever happened). That being said, the color covers gray well. Not for me, I'm allergicI was finally able to use the custom hair color. I did a skin test before applying and it was fine, but once it penetrated for a longer period, I broke out in a rash around my face and neck the next day which last for 5 days. Didn't cover grey!Used esalon while my hair stylist was on maternity leave. Great instructions, easy to follow. My color turned out ok but it didn't do a very good job covering my grey, which was my main concern. Best Hair Color in the WorldI had been seeing advertising for e salon on Facebook for months so I thought I would give them a try and I love their hair color. My stylist who cuts my hair asked me what store I bought this fantastic color at and I told her that you have to order it from e salon and that they match it to your original hair color that you had when you were younger and they matched mine perfectly. This is the second time I have color my hair from them and I like the fact that I can lighten or darken this color or I can change my color if I choose to do so. This is a great company and you are getting salon care products which are made with the right amount of each item you need for your hair color so you do not burn out your hair. With over the counter products the ammonia can be so high that it can ruin you hair and strip it dry so that your hair is burned out. Best Color Ever!I was apprehensive about trying my new custom color at first. I was told just to do the root application and then only have it on the ends for 1-2 minutes so I didn't think it would all come out the same. Surprisingly it came out perfect! I love the color!!
