Hair colorI used esalon for several years, but stopped using it about two years ago, for lazyness. At the hair salon, hairdressers never wanted to put my natural color and always insisted on putting highlights on my hair. Lately I was paying almost $200.00 to have my hair frizzy 30 minutes after leaving the salon, my hair would be brassy after the first wash. I decided to come back to esalon and get back my dark color ! Mindy advised me by email and by phone in order to get what I wanted. Young People Can Love It TooAfter my first order, I realized this was meant for people with gray hair and got embarrassed that I was using this for my own hair. I'm in my early 20s and I just love the color. It took me a while to find the right shade for me. The first was just too coppery. (Mind you, I am dealing with the color red here which is very hard to replicate a REAL ginger color.) The second time was the same color as before because I was too afraid to change it much. The third time was when I decided to change it to a lighter color. It was cool. That was the perfect one for me and then I got brave and decided to change it yet another time to just play with the red color family and this time I am LOVING it. I deciced to go strawberry blonde. It's such a lovely color for me especially since I'm naturally blonde with a slight tint of strawberry anyway. This just makes the natural red in my hair pop out more. I hope this review is helpful for other people who like to use red hair dye. The only color I didn't like was the copper color for the first round. It was a nice color, but it didn't look natural enough for me. It does not meet my expactationThe color is too chemical - the smell is too strong and the feel of hair totally changed since I put the color on.
