Tried new colorI changed my normal color to a dark brown with a purple tint to it. While the product covered my hair well, it did NOT change my color at all. I followed the directions to a tee, I event timed each step with my phone to get it right. My hair is colored and it looks nice but their is no difference from my usual color. Something is wrong!Two times the coloring clumped up in my hair like a waxy substance that took 3-4 washing with shampoo other than the shampoo provided. The first time it happened I figured it was me and I had read the directions wrong. The second time I especially paid attention and followed directions. It still clumped. My hair is normal, color treated (every 2 months for root touch-ups), a bit dry but not abnormal. I use minimum styling products just a touch of hair spray or flat iron protection. I air dry my hair. First time coloring my hair and customer service was AWFULI specifically did not want a dark brown(in writing) and even called and spoke in depth to someone there, and expressed my fears and concerns and she never explained about the second bottle needing to be applied, which was a gloss??? My hair is so dark brown that people are asking me what I did to my hair. They are NOT the kind of place for a color newbie. I will wash my hair every day until this Demi-permanent(thank God) crap comes out, then get a box from the store, which will be much easier to understand and better quality. Too TOO DARK.I wanted a dark dirty blonde, or dark honey wheat toast blonde. I am used to having blonde highlights. The color came out solid DARK brown with no color variations. It was impossible to avoid dying highlights. That was ridiculous. The original photo I presented shows a much lighter color. I am attaching a photo of my hair after eSalon's product. You will see it is mousey and flat nothing special just solid ashy brown. I need depth . more variation with lighter golden streaks.
