No more $200, plus gratuities, salon sessionsNever did I think I could color my own hair. I had been seeing the same colorist - whom I loved - for two decades. Then came the stay-at-home order, and I was stuck. I tried eSalon, based on the reviews in Allure - but with much trepidation and not a lot of hope. Surprise! Not only was my color perfectly matched, not only did the color cover my gray hair, but the results were comparable to those obtained at the very hi-end Manhattan salon. Really and truly. Great colour. Very good gray coverageMy first 2 goes with e-salon colour didn’t go well. The first was waaaaaay too dark and I had to remove the colour. Rich Color Fades Too SoonI was using a different mail-order coloring kit. I really appreciate the personalization of the eSalon kit, and my hair looked dark and rich after coloring. stubborn graysThe overall color and feel of my hair afterwards was nice. I was a little bit disappointed with the coverage of the grays.
