Love My ColorWe finally got the color right on the last try. When I went to a hairdresser, it came out different every time, and it was not necessarily a good thing. Very Dark but hope to try againAdmittedly I was a bit apprehensive at first. I didn't think the system would work without person to person contact. Then when I actually used the product I was really scared. My scalp looked like Flamin' Hot Cheetoes. I answered all profile questions accurately and yet my color is now dark blackish brown. I asked to lighten my brown and add a hint of red. As is a choice in the selection chart. Once washed, my scalp was no longer that flaming red color and roots actually blended. I was happy about that. However, the rest of my hair is now a DARK Blackish Brown. For 7 months my hairdresser & I have been gradually trying to lighten my hair. All that time and money was a waste. My hair is now darker than its ever been. Before this it was a dark brown, never has my hair been blackish brown. Maybe its my fault, but I hope this can be rectified in some way. bad productI wasn't sure at first that e salon hair color was the problem, but after this last use I am positive. I do not usually write reviews, but felt I needed to this time. I don't usually have dandruff but shortly after using e salon I started getting these little chunks of dry scalp, I could feel it when I ran my fingers across my head. I thought that it could just be due to the change of season but then it got a little worse. I decided not to use esalon anymore and wanted to go back to the Age Beautiful (purchased at Sally's Beauty Supply) I went to Sally's in a surrounding town and they were out of my shade. Later went to another Sally's and found that, that particular stored had closed. During these weeks of trying to go back to my old color, low in behold my scalp had improved greatly. Desperate to get color on my hair, I reluctantly used the e salon (still in unopened box) within one day, my scalp was back to small chunks of skin flaking off. I am convinced that e salon hair color is too strong for my skin and the color does not cover gray, nor is it as rich and deep as my previous color. Didn't appear to be permanent...As a hospice patient, I am unable to wash my hair my on own. It was only washed 4 times since this treatment. It washed right out.
