Love the Color!Thank you to Karen W who suggested this color! I love it! I would have never chosen it but, while we were on the phone I sent her a photo of myself and told her I wanted to go darker. She was so patient on the phone and the time she took with me... Girl you Rock! My hair feels great too! Only now I need to switch from dimi-perm to Permanent! Shocked and FreeingI was scared to death to do this myself! I thought for sure I would some how mess up my color and look ridiculous. I still can't believe how well my color turned out! My grey hair is covered, my dark roots have vanished, and my hair still looks healthy with a very beautiful red. I am someone that spends hundreds of dollars on hair color over the year. Love this color!First let me say, I was VERY scared when I made my first order. I needed to make changes in my life to save money for a big life change and I found eSalon. After having my hair professionally done for years it was intimidating to go back to doing it myself. My first color I felt was too red, my fault, not eSalon's staff. I contacted my personal color consultant and together we made the change for my next shipment. I am so happy with the new color!!! Thank you! I would suggest buying the tools and cape with your first order. They are very high quality and help so much with coloring your hair, makes your first order very inexpensive. Some tips I have learned. 1. I used the brush and bowl the first time. Since I have no experience, I probably should have used the bottle. I made a BIG mess. Lol 2. Read the directions several times. Once you start, it's hard to change techniques. Everything you need to be successful is provided. Use it! 3. Choose an old button down shirt you can destroy and save it for future coloring. I wore an old tee shirt and found it difficult to remove for the 2nd step when rinsing. That's it. I'm sure I'll learn more with future coloring and I will definitely have those. Oh and finally, give yourself time to learn, don't give up. The staff are awesome and super knowledgeable. Reach out to them. Beautiful color!My first color was a red brown and at first I liked it, it was different and fun, but it faded a little too orangey for me and I ended up not liking the red so much for me. I asked my colorist to switch to a medium golden brown and I knew that the red would still show through because it was so very red but she nailed it. It’s a wonderful medium golden brown with red just showing through. She noted that she was toning out the copper and it worked out perfectly. I’m super impressed. no grey coverageAfter the first use and maybe 2 washes it was like I did not even color my hair. I wrote back and said I needed a higher grey coverage formula and you just extended the time by 10 minutes....No difference in the final result.
