Fantastic!Hello, Esalon was my very first time ever dying my own hair. I was a little nervous and unsure of myself and was hoping for the best. I went through the instructional videos provided by esalon. They were very helpful as I had many questions. Hair ColorThe hair color is exactly what I asked for and blends in my hair so nicely. On top of that it’s made my hair healthier! I used to use box hair dye and the difference is astonishing. Easy to do, but may need changes for next timeThis was easy to do, and relatively quick and thorough. The instructions were great. I would recommend setting up everything ahead of time so you don't try to open bottles with gloves on. I definitely need multiple stain remover packets because the color got everywhere in my bathroom quickly and I didn't have enough cloths to clean my face after. Also, I thought the color was good, but maybe a bit too intense on the mahogany than I wanted. Too dark, not enough red.This is the same problem I have with going to salons for coloring. I can say exactly what color I use and what works, but I'm second-guessed on my color. It then comes out far too dark with not enough red. It's either mixed wrong or the wrong developer is used and I'm stuck with a darker color for several weeks until I can do it again.
