I received so many compliments!I was a little nervous at first because I remember trying to dye my own hair in my early 20’s and it was an absolute disaster! Lol! But now in my early 40’s my greys are peaking out just a tiny bit more often and I’m not into going to the salon for something I know I can do myself for a ton less $$ and in a lot less time. Also, I like being able to change up my color. I watched all the “how-to” videos and when it was all done, my hubby came home and commented on how great my hair looked and that he loved the color. He never said anything before when I went to my usual place. So this was awesome. Even my sister and friends noticed! Can’t wait to try the highlights! Color much darker than expectedI like the feel of my hair after coloring. It also has a nice shine. However, the color is several shades darker than what I expected (and what was shown when I selected the color). I have very short hair, so touching up the roots means getting the color pretty much everywhere. I was also using a different color before (L'Oreal 74C). Messed up colorI'm unsure if there was a misunderstanding in the labs and I got the wrong color or what. However I was supposed to get a Ash brown with a pearl hue, my hair is so dark in color it's almost black. My hair was a medium/ light brown with a sort of blonde golden balayage throughout. I'm not even sure how this happened, I read the instructions in entirety twice before starting, and then again during application. I went as far as to use a timer to make sure I applied, and that I left everything on correctly for times. Highlight like a Pro!!Highlight Kit is awesome. All you have to do to have gorgeous highlights that look as if the sun kissed your hair. Natural looking as long as you follow directions included in box. I waited 4 days after initial coloring before applying the highlights, the products for colored hair include shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner will have your hair feeling rejuvenated, healthy and full of shine. I love it!I'm really happy with this color & the results! It's subtle, and closely matches my natural color but adds some light & covers my gray! Exactly what I hoped for! I've been told by stylists that while my hair itself is thin & fine, I have a lot of hair. So I worried there wouldn't be enough coverage but it was great! I love my personalized color.I explained the color I wanted to them. The first one was very close. Then I sent another message before second order was sent to me. They nailed it.
