Disappointed 😔We moved to a new area and I need color every 4 weeks and am hesitant about stylists that I don’t know. I figured I give this a try. I received my first box two days ago and was very excited. Yesterday I took a deep breath and said here goes nothing. Before ordering I told my “colorist” my exact products and colors my salon used and toners because I have highlights. I followed the directions precisely. I was worried because I have such dark hair bright white roots that the color provided wouldn’t do the trick, alas, I was right. I now have hot roots, my roots are lighter and a stark contrast to what color my hair is. It DOES NOT cover gray/white completely at all!!! Secondly, my husband was more scared with the amount of hair that fell out on to my shower floor a bit smaller than a tennis ball. It’s done I can’t go back. I need to fix it but am afraid that I will loose even more hair. Please be careful. In my sales profession, my appearance is the first thing that customers see and judge. My hair is gleaming! Shinier than my kid's hair (and I'm 55; he's 13)Wow, what a great innovation and experience. I'm a bit clumsy when it comes to dying my own hair. I love the color match, I love how liquid the formula is--makes it easy to spread and massage in; No smell. The color is dimensional. And the shine was literally amazing---honestly, I'm shocked at how my hair is gleaming! The packaging was beautiful, instructions were easy to follow. Love love love it!I was worried about the color since color representations can vary from monitor to monitor.....annnndd, I've never colored my hair myself! OMGosh! My colorist read my mind (and used my previous pictures) to give me the exact color I wanted! I couldn't be happier. I went in to work this morning, and everyone was commenting on how good my hair looks. I've already referred someone to eSalon! If you're on the fence...just do it. Best at-home experienceI've been trying to figure out the perfect way to color my hair without spending $150+ at a salon. I decided to give eSalon a try after reading about other at-home custom hair color kits. I truly enjoyed the process of selecting my color - It felt more tailored than other online custom hair color brands. The kit arrived in 5 days, and I decided to set aside a Saturday morning to color with no interruptions. From start to finish, the process was very easy. Previously when I colored my hair at home 5+ years ago, I would apply color all over from the very beginning. Since I had previously had my hair colored 5 months ago, I still had some color remaining. The instructions were very helpful in understanding why I should color my roots for 30 minutes, and then refresh to the ends for a few minutes to avoid going too dark all over.
