Pretty Color but disappointedI love how the color turned out, the color just did not last. It tured a brassy color 2 1/2 weeks in with almost a red undertone. I use a color protective shampoo and conditioner that is sulfate and paraben free so that is not the cause of the fading. It appears that you came into the appointment wanting to go lighter all over. We had advised before your appointment and at your appointment that color chemically does not lift or lighten other hair color. It appears you proceeded with the service (matching your current color) against your colorist's recommendation to visit a traditional salon to achieve your originally expressed goal of going lighter all over. We are always happy to adjust based on your feedback if we are able to, however since color chemically cannot lift or lighten other hair color, we recommend visiting a traditional salon if your desired result is still to lighten your existing base. Pretty, but washes out quickly for meThe initial color is good, but my hair will not hold the red. I've tried for a couple months and after the first couple days, if I want any of the red hues, I have to use a tint rinse. This could be my hair, but I've had red before and never had this bad of washout, but it could also be the fact that my job requires me to have my hair slicked back and pulled tight, so product (and washing) is a daily chore. Incredibly Drying but good coverageI have used eSalon color for several years. This time I knew something was different. As soon as I went to rinse the color out of my hair I could feel the rough, incredibly dry texture of my hair. Rinsing it only made it worse feeling. Once hair was dried the color coverage was great as always but my hair feels and looks like dried out straw. My hair was in very good health prior to this color application. Love my colour!Absolutely love my colour, was a little concerned when I put second dye on my mids and ends, as it started life purple and then went orange! When the colour I asked for was brown with copper tones. However it turned out just as I asked for and I absolutely love it! Brilliant product & colour!I was a excited when my kit arrived, but a bit nervous about how the colour would turn out compared to my normal shop bought dye. However I needn't have worried. Instructions were easy to follow and I watched the online How to video's first. It was easy to apply and although took more time to do than my normal dye, it was well worth it.
