Good instructions, accurate color, and no strong smell!This is a bit more tedious than a typical boxed dye but totally worth it! The color is exactly what I wanted and everything looked even once I dried my hair. I also love that it doesn’t have that strong bleach smell like drug store dyes and it doesn’t sting my scalp so i’d Like to think it doesn’t have harsh chemicals. Finally, not much color comes off in the shower whenever I wash my hair so hoping this lasts longer! LOVE this product!!!Ok- I’ve had highlights and lowlights for 35 years- now I have grey that pops through the new dark growth. I wanted to try this to extend my salon visits from 4 weeks to at least 6/7 weeks. I was sooo scared-! I’d used OTC products that left my hair orangeish. So I dive right in , no test sample.. and I couldn’t believe the subtle, awesome color/cover that took place!! It lasted forever! When I had my real salon appt, she mentioned that they did a great job of making the new growth beige rather than orange and brassy- she is from NY, a great hair stylist- and she was really impressed. Product consistency is too runny!It's a challenge to color "only your roots" when the product won't stay where you put it. The consistency is too thin and needs to be improved. The gloves delivered with my kit were very poor quality. The dye leaked through the gloves and onto my hands and fingers. It made a complete mess of a very expensive manicure. I'm no novice to "at home hair color." I would have done better to buy a drug store color versus investing time and energy attending to dye running down my neck and forehead. Very messy and extremely disappointing. The positive upside is that the color looks good and my scalp is not itchy at all. I'd love to give this product another try when you take steps to improve the consistency to a thicker stay put version. Finally, the customer service I recieved when I called to cancel my subscription and share my opinion was very good. The representative was positive and apologetic. Her attitude as great. She refunded a set that I had received prior and extended a credit on one that had lapsed the approve return time frame. There was no effort to respond to the mess created by the kit I used today.
