Great color match!My biggest fear was the color matching my current (minus 12 weeks of color during the pandemic). It was just the color I wanted and the instructions were good. One thing esalon can't manage is the one who puts it on. I'm 69 years old and have had my hair colored for 20+ years by a professional. So to stand in your own bathroom with mirrors was quite a challenge. Thanks to a Zoom session with my niece I finally was able to do it! It took me forever to do the gray roots thoroughly, so I might have had it on too long, as it was very dry (processed) and brittle when I went to rinse it out. The Caviar shampoo & conditioner were good too. My one criticism would be the shipping. I paid for the 2 day delivery, but it was 7 days from order that I received it. The USPS is having a difficult time during this virus outbreak. I should have saved the $$ and it would have been here at the same time. I'll be doing it again! Overall pretty good, but color didn't last all that longMy hair is long and a whole bottle covered roots and length with extra left over. It smells exceptionally strong, but if you're in a well vented area that shouldn't be a big deal. My disappointment came when the color only last 3 weeks max. I ordered exactly a month ago. Took a week or so to ship, and my color and grays are back where they were before I colored.. I did order permanent dye so I feel it should've at least lasted another week or two, as I only wash my hair twice a week and rinse or use conditioner every other day. Color changeI requested that my color be modified and the new color is perfect. The problem was that this order ( #8691980) did not come with the applicator brush and only had 1 pair of gloves. The application with the brush was very easy for me with my first order but this time, having to use the bottle was very difficult for me causing me to miss sections of my hair in the back. Still left with dark roots - waste of timeI purchased a permanent dye plus an ends refresh. The ends worked well - colours good, vibrant, but I think that the eSalon colour is trading off the good work of my normal salon. The roots which are around 10/15cm were a failure - there’s no visible change to my hair unless you shine a bright light on my head. In daylight there is still an obvious place where my roots end and my original colour began. When I placed my order, I provided photos of my hair colour taken by my stylist several months ago as a guide, so I don’t understand the failure. I’ve messaged my colourist and sent photos to show why I’m disappointed, but I’ve not had any response. Rich package, poor productI was so anxious to see the amazing results using two different shades on my hair, one for the roots and one for the length, that I got extremely excited to open the beautiful package when it arrived in my house. I used it while recording a video to post online, so sure it’d work! Poor me. I’ve ended up with an orange root and a red hair. It didn’t color my whites (and a have just a few of them here and there), and it has left my hair heavy and dry for a few days. Really disappointed. I really wanted this to have worked out, but it was a complete disaster!
