Color didn’t really takeI was very sad about my first use. My color didn’t take very well. It’s a slightly darker shade so there’s some difference, but just not much. And the roots color seems to clearly be different from the ends with very little blending. And it’s funny because my stylist had at first emailed me to say that this was significantly darker than my current shade and they recommend a gradual darkening since it’s harder to lighten and they don’t want it to come out too dark. Terrible customer serviceCustomer service is a joke. eSalon sent me the wrong color and refuses to do anything about it. They offered to send me a free kit when I went to turn off my plan but I can no longer trust them because they sent me the wrong color. It was red-toned when I've been using ash-tone for the last year. There is no recourse if you have a problem. July 20, 2020Great results! This was my third time that I self-colored my roots In dark brown. I was tired and antsy during Covid quarantine, but it came out great and I’m satisfied w/results. I may change or lighten color and appreciate that I can discuss w/my colorist. I hope you will give 2 pairs of gloves again to color and wash out the color. Fantastic colorColor was perfectly matched to my hair. I had a tweek made for the summer to give it more pop and it was even better. Colorists are very responsive and experienced. I have gray hair that holds the red perfectly with the blend I received.
