it went from 5 to 1 starFirst time needed an adjustment, second time was perfect cover for my gray third time it didn’t cover anything. I was so disappointed with the whole thing. Perfect colorThe color was just perfect. I have waist length hair and I was able to use the one bottle to cover my hair even though my hair had grown out nearly 4 inches since my last coloring. I usually don't color my hair during winter months to give my hair a break and the ammonia smell is a bit strong. In warmer weather, I'll go outside while waiting the time out. I'm in the country and I haven't heard my chickens complain about the way I look when coloring. I just wear a hat if going out in winter when not coloring. Great coverageEvidently, I have what is known in the biz as "Stubborn Grays." I tried two other coloring services and could not get my grays covered even leaving the color on for twice the recommended time. Custom Color SetThe Custom Color created for me is spot on and was easy to apply. The color has a very natural shine, and the ammonia smell was not overpowering.
