Problens with MixturesColor was great. Had an awful time with air in the bottles of the two color mixtures. The cream solutions both had air bubbles in them. This caused mixing issues. Had to keep burping the application bottle to mix the solutions and to apply. Cause a major mess in my bathroom. Dark brown or black?I usually if not ALWAYS have an AMAZING experience and I will continue to recommend people to Esalon.... BUT I did ask to go back to dark brown. I know this, my hair is black. It is not dark brown. Like it look almost jet black! I have to leave it in because my next alternative is to go get it professionally stripped out. My hair would be so fried if I did that. So I'll leave it but I'm so disappointed! If I wanted black hair I would have asked for black. Love my color!Just colored mine for the first time and it turned out beautiful! I used a medium blonde for root touch up only and it blended beautiful and looks very natural! It covered my gray very well, no harsh smell and it did not burn my scalp like the salon color does! Love the shampoo and conditioner that came with the set smell is very nice and it made hair feel soft. I also purchased the cape, gloves, bowl and brush to apply the color and all were great products made very well just like the salon ones. Also purchased the tint rinse and weekly retreat and cant wait to try them both! I have referred Esalon to my daughter's, friends and family this is such a great way to do it your self! Love this systemOk so here we go... 1st time trying this out and let me tell you... im in love. The presentation was fabulous. The color and easy step by step details also was great. My hair felt a little dry at the ends but that's normal for coloring. Over all i liked it all especially the tint rinse which adds extra shine.
