This is a spray for covering roots as they come in. It's a bit dark, for being a "dark blonde" but it gets the job done.

Not a fan. I feel like I’m spraying at weird angles to get the coverage I wanted. Felt sticky because I needed so much & that I needed to wash my hair. To me it was not worth the hassle.

I've used a popular drug store brand in the teal can in the past, prior to trying this one out. Unfortunately, eSalon really struck out with their version. First off, the can doesn't last very long because there's not much in there. But the biggest problem is the spray: it comes out really hard and fast, so it's difficult to control. It spits droplets everywhere. I thought maybe that was because I was pressing too lightly, but it doesn't seem to matter how hard I press. I always end of with a mess of spots all over my face, neck, my hand, the countertop, and the can itself. Trust me, this is incredibly frustrating if you wait to do this as the last step in the morning, after you've just finished with your makeup. It's pretty hard to get the color off your face. And, the color is so thick, I end up with a really dark scalp at my temples and hairline, where the hair is thinner. It just looks odd. I reordered it a couple of times, hoping that I had just gotten a couple of bad cans, but it's been the same every time. The color transfers pretty badly to other things, like the your hands, pillowcase and headphones, and I find that gross and annoying. I had to give up on this product. I'll go back to the drug store if I really want a spray option.

For something like this, I would've expected it to match somewhat to what my color is with esalon (a pretty bright red) but this was more like dark brown with the slightest hint of red. Nothing like spraying my dark roots with more dark color! On top of that, it's very hard to not get it on your hands and skin and it's hard to wash off. Not sure I really would have liked it even if the color was remotely close.

I really wanted to love this but ... The nozzle is a direct spray which I guess can be helpful but it makes it difficult to not end up with a super dark patch in areas. I wish the nozzle would be a little more misty so that it doesn’t come out so concentrated. Also the color is really dark but I found when I comb through it, it blends better. Love that it doesn’t leave hair feeling stiff like other sprays.

This isn’t worth the money. It stains your skin and never drys! So if you touch your hair you will have black stains everywhere. And if you spray it on your hairline you will have stains on your forehead. Need some type of guard to protect your skin from the black stains! I do not like this product at all.

I don’t like this compared to other brands. You have to spray a lot on to get coverage and then when it builds it’s too dark for light brown or golden brown hair. The mist is very spitty and wet too. I’m glad I didn’t pay full price. Will not be repurchasing

It does its job but I find that I play with my hair A LOT and it comes off on my hands. I use dry shampoo so I don't need to wash my hair as often. It give my hair the same texture but with the benefit of hiding some roots between coloring but I don't love that it comes off on my fingers all the time.

I love eSalon color, cowash, and many other products...but I didn't like this. I had trouble aiming it, felt the color didn't dispense evenly, and did not like that it left my hair feeling a bit dirty. I realize it is an aerosol and contains alcohol, but I had hoped it wouldn't feel so drying...I was bummed.

The color matched well with my hair and quickly blended away greys but anytime I moved my hands through my hair my fingertips were stained brown. I touch my hair constantly which meant I was also constantly washing brown off my fingertips. I will keep this around for occasions when I’ll have my hair in a fixed style but I won’t likely use this again otherwise.

This is like spray paint. The color was what was recommended for me. It was at least 3 shades too dark. The spray made my hair very hard. Yes it covered my gray roots, but I couldn’t spray and restyle my hair or brush it. It got tacky feeling and was difficult to brush. My scalp looked really dirty as well. My hair color is golden brown. This is dark brunette. Doesn’t match whatsoever. This is a waste of money since it will now go into the trash.

I was hoping this spray would not make my hair feel gummy, but it does. I guess it’s the nature of these sprays. It does make it possible to squeeze in a week or so more before I have to color roots.

Product is darker than I expected, also comes off on fingers when you run them through hair. Spray isn’t easy to control. Stains skin easily, you should use a guard around your hairline.

This product I would have to say spend the most disappointing. I am 100% unsatisfied with it. The shade is too dark and really stands out come the rest of the color of my hair. Well not use ever again.

I have ordered this product and been happy with it in the past as the dispenser aims a narrow enough stream I could target grays that creeped in before I was ready to color again, and the color matched very well. This last batch must have been faulty. Instead of a stream of brown, the spray came out white and dried to a clear color, not covering the grays at all. The next time I shook the can more than I usually do, hoping that would mix the color in better before I sprayed, but I honestly think this can has no color in it-no difference. Though I liked the results with my previous orders, I'm not sure I want to risk another order. :(

The shade was a bit off which I can deal with it, but it didn't covered my grays as I expected. Example used it last night and this morning the gray was starting to showed up it didn't last nor covered my grays.

Disappointed in this product. It doesn't spray exactly where you want it. I don't know if it's the nozzle or what but it goes everywhere and it is very hard to get off your skin. I will stick with buying in stores.

I only have one complaint about this product. The feel of it on my fingers is rough and kinda stiff. I guess in an emergency it would be ok as long as nobody ran their fingers through your hair.
