I bought this product because it was 50% off for new customers--so why not.
I use it twice a week as the directions recommend and my red is still vibrant and beautiful. I will continue to use Tainted Love.

I love my esalon hair color but still have the problem that my hair gets lighter near the roots, where it is probably white these days. Since the hair is curly, you really only see this problem where it parts, and Tinted Love helps to darken the color there. I have not had any problem with it making the rest of my hair too dark, and I love the way it suds up in the shower. It is now part of my regular maintenance kit to keep my hair looking good between dye jobs.

Color enhancing treatment is FUN! If I feel like being a little mischievous I can add a bit more red. Sulty...add a little more. They have many colors and I'm trying out several. It doesn't change my beautiful color. It simply "enhances" my color to fit my mood.

This tint helps to perkup your color. Just before its time to color your hair again you notice that the color is dull and not as bright and shiny. This tint helps to extend the color just that little bit further.

This tint provided fun cherry highlights after I'd had light highlights added to my mahogany esalon color. It extended the color for about two weeks when I was too busy to color.

I have used the color enhancing treatment a couple of times since I received it. I can't tell a lot of difference in the color, but I think it does impart some shine onto the hair. I also notice that it detangles the hair after it has already been shampooed.

I use this between colouring to give my hair the shine and colour boost it needs! Works like a charm, just remember to either wear gloves or wash your hands really well after using! It is a colour stain after all!

I've used a couple of different "color enhancing" conditioners, treatments, home remedies, etc. Anything to try and keep the purple in my hair. I've been dying it a deep auburn color and the purple kept washing out in the shower and I could tell the ends of my hair were not the same color as my roots/crown. Tinted Love to the rescue my friends! I put this on my ends after I use a cleansing conditioner (I don't shampoo) and before I put my deep conditioner on. Even after one use, I can see that the purple is back in my hair! It doesn't stain my hands too bad but it does stain my shower. Nothing a little bleach can't fix :-). I wash my hair every four days and one tube has lasted me three months....well worth it! I will continue to re-purchase as long as I have a purple tint to my hair. Thanks eSalon!

It works great if you can remember to use it. This product is takes most of the red tint out. I just have so much red in my hair. I love it if I can remember to use it.

Tinted Love's Blonde Neutralizer is wonderful, as it tones down the brassiness of being blonde, but not the sassiness! I use it once a week and am thrilled at the naturalness of my blonde tresses. The only downside is the "aroma" (aka skunk smell), but, hey, who said beauty was easy? I don't notice much brassy/red neutralization from this. I've used 2x and aside from not seeing any difference, I am turned off by the strong fragrance. I wish companies would offer unscented or lighter fragranced products.
It also is pretty heavy for my hair. I have fine wavy/loose curls and this product completely relaxes my hair.

Left my hair feeling bleached and brittle. I did LOVE the color enhancement, and the hair re-softened within a wash/deep conditioner, so it wasn't a permanent issue.

This is a great refresher for those last couple weeks before touch up but it leaves my shoulder length hair very dry and brittle. Probably perfect for short hair. If it wasn’t so hard on my hair it would be 10 stars.

Following the instructions I saw no visible difference in my hair tone. I'll try it again on dry hair, as another reviewer suggested.

I have medium brown hair with blondeish highlights i was hoping to tone down. However this tint rinse had zero effect on my color, didn't even show the day after. However it's a very nice conditioning treatment so I'll use up the entire bottle.

Ich finde meine neue Haarfarbe von eSalon total toll! Schwarz mit violett. Zum Auffrischen Tinte Rinse purple dazu bestellt. Leider trocknen die Haare davon bei mir irgendwie aus und die Farbe bleibt nicht so richtig haften.

I am naturally level 6-7, which I then have darkened to a 4/5, and have a few really light highlights added. I am naturally level 6-7, which I then have darkened to a 4/5, and have a few really light highlights added. My natural color is very cool/ashy and I like to stay with that tone in any color I have done. My regrowth always comes in cool, but anywhere my hair has been colored it eventually goes very gold/yellow/warm, so I'm always trying to eliminate those tones.
I purchased 3 of these treatments, and because I only wash my hair twice a week it took me a while to give each of them a fair try.
Because my hair lightens and becomes more gold in between my color appts, I hoped this product might work to give me an overall darker look. At the very least, I hoped it would eliminate the gold tones, but I didn't see any noticeable change other than it made my hair feel more dry. I figured it was worth a try. :)

It's okay. I have dyed brown hair with some pretty blonde highlights. I usually use purple shampoo to neutralize but when I saw this product that is aimed towards brown hair and works with blondish hair too, I was excited to try it. I definitely notice a difference with the blonde parts (they look great) but I still see a lot of red in the brown sections.

I took before and after photos of my hair so that I could make sure to measure the difference of the product. 2 weeks ago, I had my hair balayaged by a professional and had a beautiful light cool brunette color in the end blended with my naturally very dark, Asian black hair. I had noticed after each wash I lost a little of that color and so I decided to purchase this to battle brass and attempt to make my color last longer.
After using this in the shower: I shampooed, applied generously for 5-7 minutes, then washed it out and conditioned as normal. I took my finished photo at the same natural light spot in my house and compared the before and afters - NO CHANGE to color!! My hair felt very rough and tangled after using this product, but thank goodness I had deep conditioner on hand.
I took a chance on this product due to the 100% satisfaction guarantee, but was told that this does NOT APPLY to other products other than the root touch-up color kits. BUYER BE AWARE OF THIS MARKETING TACTIC. It is not straight forward and therefore, does not seem very honest to me. This is also after I had used their color match tool to decide which shade to purchase.

Easy to apply and I did leave it on my hair for four minutes before rinsing it out.
The directions said to leave it in for two to three minutes, but I gave it four minutes hoping for results.
Waited for my hair to dry and then stood in the sun to see if there was a noticeable difference.
I did not notice anything different about my hair worthy of purchasing this product again.
I will use up the tube and will repost a review if I notice anything different.

When I used the tint rinse I did not see that it makes a big difference in my color in between my 6 week color.

I generally don’t need any product if I am air drying my hair and just add a protector if I am going to blow dry it or curl it. I have medium brown hair with some bayalage that had become a bit brassy since I have not been able to get to the salon during the pandemic. I have always touched my roots up between salon visits but leave the bayalage to my stylist. I also NEVER pull the color through to my ends and only touch up the root area to preserve the health of my hair and not mess up the dimension. Sometimes I use a Bumble and Bumble glaze between salon visits to freshen the rest of my color between visits and have had beautiful results. I tried this thinking it would be great after seeing a YouTube review. My hair is now so dry, brittle, and damaged looking - and of course I’m in a state where we still can’t visit our hair salons. I am going to try a mask (not from here) and see if I can reverse the damage. I purchased the toning mask from here as well but I am now afraid to try it.

I was SO excited to try this product. I have medium brown hair that leans towards the ash side, and after getting a botched balyage my whole head was a horrible dull red/orange with brassy highlights. I feel like I've tried everything, tinted shampoos, toning it, dying over it (with boxed dye....moment of weakness) but no matter what the red returns within the month. After the reviews it seemed like 9/10 people had wonderful results. I initially got the Soft Red Neutralizer, but I saw no results and thought maybe I should've gone with the regular red. I've used it 5 or so times (leaving it on longer than recommended) and it seems I'm one of the people who's hair does not react well with this product. It does smell lovely, but as others said, it made my hair dry, tangled, and actually brought out the red even faster than normal shampoo. I don't want to fully discourage people from buying this product as I do believe others have had success with it, but unfortunately I am not one of them.

I have natural never-colored red hair and was looking to boost my vibrancy. I've tried clear glosses in the past (at-home products and in-salon treatments) with zero noticeable results.
I have used the copper tint rinse 2x in the past week and see a bit of 'brightness' in my natural red color in my bangs where my hair is thinner and straighter. The body of my hair, which is thick and wavy, doesn't seem to be taking up the product as well. May try leaving on for more than the recommended 3 minutes to see if I can get more shine.
Of note, the first tube I received exploded when opened as there was a hole in the top seam. eSalon sent out a replacement product ASAP.

I was using a toner for brunettes which was amazing and a godsend because dark hair toners are hard to come by! but it was discontinued. So when I came across this I so badly wanted it to work. But no matter how much I put on or how long I leave it on, it will not kick the warmth out of my hair. I does leave my hair feeling lovely and soft though, so extra star for that

I have not tried using this product yet. Been traveling quite a bit since I ordered it. I ordered it without knowing what it is for. Please send me info on this product and how to use it. Also I need the timing the hair color should be on the roots and timing on how long hair color should be left on the rest of hair after applying on the roots. Thank you
