Hair colour great and you can change it when you want to.... It lasts a good few weeks without washing out.
One negative thing .. It doesn't always cover the greys totally ..

It last longer than hair color I've bought at Walmart but still can't get it to be at true light brown. It always starts out darker and then fades to a color I like after a couple of weeks.

I spent a few months requesting changes to my hair colour shade, which eSalon kindly made each time until I got the exact shade I wanted. It's perfect now and I love it. Can't recommend it strongly enough!

The correct shade of red for me is not easy to obtain. The process that you are walked thru online made for an excellent result. The color also seems to have lasted longer than the box from the store.

I am now 4 weeks post-color application and there is NO evidence of roots. I am blown away by the color match. I DO have a few gray hairs peeking through so my only complaint is that they broke through about week 2 and I would love to improve on that,but otherwise definitely exceeded my expectations.

The adjusted color captured what I desired for the outcome. The one negative is the directions. It needs to be rewritten so it doesn't sound like a scolding on following the process on how to color. Overall satisfied customer.

I got my first box of made for me color. First, the presentation was fantastic. Directions were easy to follow, albeit a bit daunting because my first color required one bottle for root application and one for ends. Total time from start to finish took me a little over an hour. I asked for some tweaks on the color as the roots were lighter than I wanted and more orangey tone. Also could tell where the bulk of my grey was. The colorist responded that they'd tweaked my next formula to make it darker and with a different tone and more grey coverage. What I CAN say is almost a month later the color is still there. It has not faded out as the box dyes ALL did for me.
Time will tell with my next formulation bit for now I'm a happy customer. Much more cost effective than a salon visit every 4-6 weeks. 😊

My grays were covered thoroughly and lasted until my hair grew out. The color was just watt wanted and it lightened just a enough to let the sun reflect off my hair.

I love the color, the only problem I keep having is it fades pretty quickly. My colorist has been working with me on each new order to adjust. The product is of good quality, and the instructions are very easy to follow. Very happy with the decision to go with esalon.

I have had my hair colored at salons before and after 3-4 weeks it starts to fade and turn grey again. But with e-salon my hair still has its beautiful color after at least 6 weeks and is still shinny and sleak. I love e-salon and would recommend to everyone.

The color was a little darker this time and tends to be more brassier than I like it but I did get my highlights in good this time so it does lightness some. I don't so much want to go blonde because I've never been a strawberry blonde ... Its great, just never paid 25.00 for one-time color use. On my budget, its a wee bit high.

I love that there was separate color for roots, however it didn't cover my grey very well and roots were lighter than rest of hair. The rest of my hair looks great though. Color is nice a warm and shiny

After having a bad experience with expensive salon color, I decided to try eSalon. The price was good and I liked that it ships directly to your home. I filled out all the questions for my first order and waited for it to arrive. It was packaged well and instructions were simple. The color was very good, no harsh smell. The color was rich and provided even coverage. The price is fair although it has gone up to $24.95 this month and I'm not sure why. Not sure if I want to continue at that price. The only con is that the color seems to fade rather quickly, even using color-safe shampoo. I would, however, recommend giving this product a try. I am happy with my purchase and am on my third consecutive order.

Loved the 2nd round eSalon made for me as far as color. Can't get past the fumes though. And the shine did not seem to last past 3. I use quality shampoo.

I am 65, have been coloring my hair since I was 16. This color doesn't fade, is easy to apply, better than any drug store products. I wish there was a way I could get 25% more product with each application. I have thick hair, and run out of product half way thru the back of my head.

This product seems to be a professional level product for the public to use. Drug store hair color products did nothing for my gray except tint it yellow. This is the ONLY hair coloring that completely covers all my gray hair. However, since it's a liquid, it's very messy to use. In the directions, if you're still stating for the last step, to get into the shower to rinse the dye off, then I still think you're wrong in your instruction. I wouldn't want to turn around only to discover that the back of my body is also dyed brown.

I have been using this hair colour for about a year now and it is the only one that covers grey completely. It is possible to adjust the colour if you fancy a change and the results are really good.
My only concern is that using the colour is quite messy and even though I cover as much as I can in the bathroom I still end up with splashes everywhere.

I love this hair coloring system, its professional class, and the color itself.

I love the product; esalon colorists have matched my "before-gray" beautifully. But the instructions leave a lot to be desired. No reason is given for different instructions--apparently I'm supposed to spend $20 to color just my roots, now that I've been using esalon for a year. It would be nice if the instructions came with a paragraph explaining the changes.

My first delivery was too dark so I contacted esalon to adjust the formula. The first adjustment still had a little too much brown and purple. My second request has given me the perfect balance of red and brown for a great auburn color!

I really like my color and it is easy to change when I want a bit more red or want to go more brunette. My only complaint is that it is so difficult to get off of the scalp. I scrub and scrub in an effort to remove it. After a week or so, I finally feel that it is completely clean.

I am not a hair person! I just don't know how to do all that stuff but I'm telling you this was almost as easy as washing your hair, the results though were well beyond what I had ever expected, my Daughter who does know what she's doing had dyed my hair red I didn't want to do the upkeep of it so wanted to go back brown, well I've done this before at the salon and it's never easy because they can't take you from red back to brown in one process. Well shame on them because eSalon took me there no problem! I have a lot of grey now that I did not have then as well. I recommend this very much. What a fantastic product and experience!

The color was right on. Didn't look like a fake red head. Looked very natural. However, the grey came back almost immediately. Which was the main reason I bought the color in the first place. That's why I only gave 4 stars.

Zuerst war ich von der Lieferung erfreut.Die Farbe machte in der Flasche und Verarbeitung einen guten Eindruck. Der Ton lag allerdings daneben. Ich hatte mir etwas mehr Passgenauigkeit gewünscht. Damit wurde geworben. Positiv kann ich sagen,dass es eine Mitteilung gibt,bevor eine zweite Charge versandt wird mit der Möglichkeit zur Stornierung.

Très déçue par cette coloration – résultat catastrophique
Je suis extrêmement déçue par ce produit. J’ai suivi les instructions et utilisé la coloration comme indiqué, mais le résultat est très loin de ce qui était attendu.
La couleur obtenue sur les racines est très irrégulière et le résultat est particulièrement mauvais sur les cheveux blancs. La différence de couleur est très visible et mes cheveux ont maintenant un aspect beaucoup plus gris et terne.
Pour un produit présenté comme professionnel, je trouve le résultat totalement inacceptable. J’ai pourtant respecté les recommandations d’utilisation.
Je déconseille fortement ce produit, surtout si vous avez des cheveux blancs et que vous recherchez une couleur uniforme et naturelle.
Très mauvaise expérience. Je regrette vraiment cet achat.

I’m really sad to say I’ve not had the best experience with your formulas first one turned my hair black and washed out in a week. Second batch has not even covered my greys and left it for 40 minutes doing roots first :(

Ich hoffe, dass ihr auch Kritik vertragen könnt und meinen Beitrag jetzt nicht löscht. Bei meiner Bestellung war eine zweite Flasche dabei, welche für die Längen sein sollte. Auf meine Nachfrage hin ob diese auf jeden Fall genutzt werden muss oder ob die eine reicht... Nein, zwingend erforderlich, da etwas anders als die für den Ansatz, wird sonst fleckig. Ok, wird gemacht. Das man beim Nachbestellen aber dann ja theoretisch immer die zweite Flasche mitbestellen müsste, wird vorher und schon gar nicht bei den Kosten erwähnt. Vorweg gesagt, ich färbe mir seit über 40 Jahren die Haare und weiss schon, was ich tue. Aber so eine Sauerei mit zwei unterschiedlichen Flaschen habe ich ja noch nie erlebt. Aber gut, hat im Endeffekt geklappt.
Nun sitze ich hier und sehe, ich habe keinen blauen Ansatz (bestellt wurde Blauschwarz). Kein blauer Ansatz ist im Grunde das, was ich mir erhofft hatte. Aaaaaaber.... ich habe auch keine blauschwarz gefärbten Haare. Die Haare haben ganz leicht Farbe angenommen, aber zum einen die Farbe nicht überdeckt, welche vorher da war, und mit der gewünschten Farbe hat es nicht im Ansatz zu tun. Und würde ich zum Friseur gehen, wäre die Färbung zusammen mit der zweiten Flasche nicht wirklich viel teurer als das, was mich das bei euch kosten würde. Allerdings müsste ich nach einem Friseurbesuch nicht mein Bad grundreinigen. Ach, eins noch, die Flaschen sind für mich zumindest sehr problematisch gewesen, da ich unheimlich drücken musste, um überhaupt Produkt herauszubekommen. Diese Bewertung ist meine individuelle Erfahrung. Aber auch negative Kritik muss ja mal gesagt werden.

The set arrived and it was beautifully presented, with straight forward step by step instructions. I was disappointed with the colour though, I spent a long time choosing the shade and specifically asked for not too dark and no black and my hair looks black. Also, the final stage of the process where you add water to the bottle to blend the roots and main section of hair was extremely messy, even if you do it in the shower. I’m not sure I would use this system again, to be honest.

I tried a different colour 2 years after my first try with E Salon and unfortunately faced the same issue I had before. Nothing like the colour chosen. I asked for a warmer colour to tone down my natural colour to a more warm strawberry blonde. Instead, I’ve got red hair. Not sure what’s happened really, nothing at all like the picture.

This time the color was wildly different to what I expected. Again the roots and the ends are so mismatched and there is a definitive line between colors. I won’t be using again sadly.

I will say everything in the package it was packaged beautifully, but my color came out incredibly dark, much darker than I expected. I don't know if I'll try it again and try to maybe a lighter. I don't know what I'm gonna do because my hair is so dark now I mean it's not gonna lighten. I'm probably gonna have to talk to a consultant.

As I previously wrote, each adjustment for my dirty blonde natural hair keeps making it more and more orange. I literally had to do a hair strip which I've never done... that made my hair even more orange. I had to reapply the demi and its a bit better but horrific at the same time.
Your last response you said you saw that I spoke with the stylist and resolved the issues but I still have many charges on my account and so far I hate everything I used. My friend recommended eSalon since my virgin hair had a few grays. Now my hair is completely ruined. I've lost so much trust in the company, stylists take too long to respond and I've contacted you 4x now asking for my money back and I never get a response.
I should have stuck to pulling out a few grays. I miss my natural color. I'm so upset over this, I've lost the little confidence I had in myself.
